Borough of Etna Right To Know Law

In 2008, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania passed Act 3, otherwise known as the new “Right to Know” law which took effect on January 1, 2009.  This law provides access to public records of the Borough of Etna as well as other public entities.  

All Right to Know requests must be submitted in writing to the Borough of Etna’s Open Records Officer:

The Borough of Etna is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with the exception of holidays.

Our agency (all agencies) has five business days from the date the Open Records Officer receives the request.  The agency (Borough of Etna) may request additional time to fill the request but will submit a request for the thirty (30) day time extension within the initial five business day period (from receipt by the Open Records Officer).
