Are you interested in becoming a certified lifeguard to work at the Etna Borough swimming pool? Maybe the cost was a bit out of your range; or the location of classes difficult to get to? Etna Borough Council is ONCE AGAIN accepting applicants for FREE lifeguard training which will take place at the Shaler Area Elementary School on March 17th, March 24th, and March 25th. Etna Borough will cover the cost of instruction for five applicants ages 15 to 18 years old! Successful candidates MUST complete the course and commit to working at the Etna Swimming Pool for our third party Certified Bathing Place/Lifeguarding Company, SWIM AMERICA.
